March Madness Day 4, Part 2

Kansas 70, North Carolina 58
Every moment of this game I watched (outside of the last minutes where the game was decided), I was watching
a) A completely different North Carolina team - this one was dedicated on defense, careful with the ball on offense, and generally playing like a well-oiled machine
b) the exact same Kansas team - starts out ice cold on offense, relies on their great defense to eventually wear down the opponent, and somehow only takes advantage of their favorable match-up inside when 25 game minutes have already gone by.

So apparently UNC simply stinks at focusing and Kansas simply is the maddening team they appear to be.

Florida 78, Minnesota 64
Let me guess, Florida hit a lot of threes and simply ran Minnesota off the floor. Checks the box score. Well, not exactly. Florida did hit their threes (10/20), but so did Minnesota (8/18). Minnesota had a whopping 1 extra turnover than Florida, and both teams rebounded about equally. So what was the difference? Well, it was shooting, just not confined to behind the arc. Florida hit 56.8% of their field goals. That's insane. And it's why the Gators have made it to the Sweet 16.
