Interesting Notes:
  • Three teams remain unbeaten in conference play: Kansas City, Seattle, and New Orleans.
  • The AFC has exactly 6 teams that are over .500. The NFC has 8 such teams.
  • Arizona is the only team that has yet to play a single inter-conference game. Five teams have completed their full inter-conference slate (Seattle, San Francisco, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and Denver).
A Quick Look Ahead to Week 10:
Detroit at Chicago (Sunday 1:00 PM) - All of a sudden with Aaron Rodgers' shoulder injury, these two might be the favorites for the NFC North crown. Also, this is a golden opportunity for Detroit to get a leg up in the division race, as they are the only one of the three NFCN teams to still have a healthy starting quarterback.
Carolina at San Francisco (Sunday 4:05 PM) - Right now, these are the two wild card teams in the NFC. Both San Francisco and Carolina have beaten up on some bad teams in the last month. Now each gets a real test.
Denver at San Diego (Sunday 4:25 PM) - San Diego gets its first crack at the two behemoths in their division.
Dallas at New Orleans (Sunday 8:30 PM) -  Dallas gets a chance to try and assert itself as a true top-4 NFC team, while New Orleans tries to recover from that letdown against the Jets.
