Interesting Notes:
  • Detroit will have tiebreakers over their NFC North counterparts if they can beat GB at home and avoid a slip up against the Vikings in week 17
  • Don't look now, but Dallas may end up in the week 17 Sunday Night Football game again, as they play the Eagles (who like the Cowboys are 5-5).
A Quick Look Ahead to Week 11:
San Francisco at New Orleans (Sunday 4:25 PM) - Not only does the loser probably lose any chance at the #1 seed, but the loser may endanger their playoff position as well. Carolina is just one game back of the Saints in the NFC South, and San Francisco is just a game up on 3 teams for the #6 spot.
Kansas City at Denver (Sunday 8:30 PM) - Kansas City faces a team starting a particular quarterback on purpose for the first time in over a month. Strength (Denver O) meets strength (Kansas City D), and weakness (Denver D) meets weakness (Kansas City O).
New England at Carolina (Monday 8:30 PM) - Despite all the hand-wringing in New England, the Patriots are lined up nicely for another division title and first round bye. This game provides a real test for the first time since the Patriots lost to a healthy Cincinnati team. For Carolina, this is a chance to build on the momentum of their road win in San Francisco, and stake their claim as a legitimate division contender.
