  • Baltimore controls its own destiny as relates to the AFC North title. Because of their week 17 clash against each other, and Baltimore winning the tiebreaker if they both finish 10-6 due to a better divisional record, the Ravens could steal the division title from the Bengals.
  • If Miami wins their final two games and the Patriots lose their final two games, the Dolphins would take the division by winning the divisional record tie-breaker.
  • The Ravens hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Dolphins.
  • The Bengals hold head-to-head tie-breakers over both the Patriots and the Colts.
  • The NFC Wild Card teams will be 2 of these 3: NFC South Runner up, NFC West runner up, NFC West 2nd runner up. No NFC North or East teams can earn a wild card berth.
  • Week 17 could have 2 winner-take-all games: Philadelphia at Dallas and/or Green Bay at Chicago.
A Quick Look Ahead to Week 16:
Indianapolis at Kansas City (Sunday 1:00 PM) - Two flawed teams who could very well play this game again in 2 weeks (though that one would be in Indianapolis), or in 3 weeks (that one would be in Kansas City).
New Orleans at Carolina (Sunday 1:00 PM) - How quickly fortunes turn in a week. After their head-to-head win 2 weeks ago, the Saints looked to be sitting pretty. Then they went to St. Louis and got smoked. Now they may need this game even more than the Panthers.
Arizona at Seattle (Sunday 4:05 PM) - The last time Arizona traveled to Seattle they lost 58-0.
New England at Baltimore (Sunday 4:25 PM) -  After losing out on a chance to overtake Denver for the #1 seed in the AFC last weekend, the Patriots need to quickly regroup to a) maintain their bye position and b) avoid possibly missing out on the playoffs entirely.
Pittsburgh at Green Bay (Sunday 4:25 PM) -  Pittsburgh's playoff hopes are hanging by a thread, but Green Bay may still be without Aaron Rodgers.
Chicago at Philadelphia (Sunday 8:30 PM) - This game may be meaningless for Philadelphia. If Dallas wins at 1:00 on Sunday, the winner of Philadelphia-Dallas in week 17 will win the NFC East.
