Interesting Notes:
  • The Broncos clinch a playoff spot with 1 win or 1 Miami or Baltimore loss.
  • The Colts clinch their division with 1 win or 1 Tennessee loss.
  • Tennessee has head-to-head wins over the Steelers, Chargers, and Jets.
  • Seattle became the first team to clinch a playoff spot with their Monday night win over the Saints. Seattle clinches their division with 1 win or 1 49ers loss.
  • The Saints and Panthers play each other twice in the next three weeks.
A Quick Look Ahead to Week 14:
Indianapolis at Cincinnati (Sunday 1:00 PM) - A game between two division leaders who have been scuffling recently. The winner gets a leg up on avoiding the AFC West runner-up in round 1 of the playoffs.
Detroit at Philadelphia (Sunday 1:00 PM) - Which defense can rise up and hold the opposing offense under 35 points?
Miami at Pittsburgh (Sunday 1:00 PM) - I'm breaking my usual rule here as neither of these teams is over .500, but with the state of the AFC playoff picture what it is, this could be an elimination game for that race for the 6th spot.
Seattle at San Francisco (Sunday 4:25 PM) - Only perhaps the best current rivalry in the NFL. Even without the division really on the line (it would take a monumental collapse by Seattle to not win the NFC West), this should be one to watch.
Carolina at New Orleans (Sunday 8:30 PM) - The NFC South (and most likely a first round bye) will come down to this game and the rematch 2 weeks later.
Dallas at Chicago (Monday 8:30 PM) - Dallas needs to stay ahead of Philadelphia, while Chicago needs to catch up to the Lions.
