Torpedo for Geno Picture, Week 8

Last year it was very clear what the top prize in the draft was: Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck. This year, it's not quite as clear. Everyone assumed it would be USC quarterback Matt Barkley, but instead of leading his team to a berth in the BCS title game, USC has already lost twice and Barkley has thrown more interceptions so far this season than in all of his games last year. Ouch.

Enter West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith. His stats: 74.3% completion, 2417 yards (8.28 yards per attempt), 26 TDs/2 INTs. That's pretty good, even in one of the spread offenses on steroids that is currently sweeping the NCAA nation.

So, Suck for Luck has now been rechristened Torpedo for Geno on the interwebs. That's good enough for me.

The first tiebreaker for draft position is strength of schedule (lower SOS gets the higher pick in round 1).
After SOS, the next tie-breakers are conference record and division record. After that it comes down to a coin flip.
* designates two teams who would determine the higher pick between them via a coin flip.
