A quick primer on what all of this information is:
Team, W(ins), L(osses), T(ies), and Pct (winning percentage) are all self-explanatory.
The Conference and Division records are separated into separate columns for Wins/Losses/Ties. This was purely a formatting move designed to help me update the tables more efficiently.
PF - Points For (points scored by the team for the season)
PA - Points Against (points scored by the team's opponents for the season)
Pythag% - Pythagorean winning percentage - this is based on PF and PA
RoS SOS - Rest of Season Strength of Schedule
Interesting bits of information:
- Keep an eye on the Chiefs. Despite currently being just on the outside of the playoff picture, they project as a .600 win % team, even though they are currently 3-3. Plus, they are tied for the easiest remaining schedule in the AFC (with Buffalo).
- Denver has navigated the roughest stretch of their schedule, and they sit 5-1 on top of the AFC.
- By their Pythagorean numbers, the Ravens are the top team in the AFC. However their strength of schedule is far below that of the Colts and Broncos, and the Broncos' strength of victory easily outpaces that of both the Colts and Ravens.
- The Broncos are the only team in the AFC undefeated in conference play.
