Quick hitters again, home teams in CAPS.
MIAMI (-2.5) over San Diego
Miami is better than their record would suggest. And San Diego's defense gives up an awful lot of big plays (not good considering Miami has Mike Wallace).
CINCINNATI (-10.5) over Sorry, Jacksonville
Good teams take care of business against the Jaguars.
CLEVELAND (-6.5) Tampa Bay
I said last week Cleveland shouldn't be favored by 7 over anyone (well I said Oakland but it's basically the same thing) and the Browns unimpressively won by 10. Tampa is basically at Oakland's level (maybe slightly worse), so this week I'll take Cleveland despite the high line.
MINNESOTA (-1) over Washington
There will be a let down this week, especially with Washington on the road again.
Philadelphia (-1.5) over HOUSTON
I'm trusting Nick Foles to make a few more plays than Ryan Fitzpatrick. I'm also trusting those plays won't be to JJ Watt.
KANSAS CITY (-9.5) over New York Jets
Michael Vick isn't the answer.
Arizona (+3.5) over DALLAS
Why will the Cowboys all of a sudden be better versus a blitz-happy defense when a) it's a short week and b) their quarterback is either very injured or Brandon Weeden.
SAN FRANCISCO (-10) over St. Louis
St. Louis had their shot at the 49ers and blew it a few weeks ago.
NEW ENGLAND (+3) over Denver
Strange things happen to Peyton Manning in Foxboro.
Oakland (+14.5) over SEATTLE
Seattle has done nothing since week 1 to indicate they should be favored by 14+ over anyone.
PITTSBURGH (+1.5) over Baltimore
Baltimore's top cornerback is out, which should make life much easier for Antonio Brown and his supporting cast.
Indianapolis (-3) over NEW YORK GIANTS
Trust in Luck (over Eli).
This Week: 1-0 (Whoo-hoo!)
Last Week: 7-8 (.467)
2014 Season: 61-59-1 (.508)
