A quick primer on what all of this information is:
Team, W(ins), L(osses), T(ies), and Pct (winning percentage) are all self-explanatory.
The Conference and Division records are separated into separate columns for Wins/Losses/Ties. This was purely a formatting move designed to help me update the tables more efficiently.
PF - Points For (points scored by the team for the season)
PA - Points Against (points scored by the team's opponents for the season)
Pythag% - Pythagorean winning percentage - this is based on PF and PA
RoS SOS - Rest of Season Strength of Schedule
Interesting bits of information:
- Still true: The Colts have yet to win a game outside of their own division.
- In any other division, the division-leading Colts would be 4.5 games out of first place (assuming they had still managed to play 3 games against the AFC South by now)
- The Patriots have scored 51 points more than the next highest-scoring team in the AFC.
- The Ravens and Chargers (combined record: 4-12) are both top-5 in the AFC in scoring.
- The Titans have both a) the worst record in the AFC and b) the hardest remaining schedule in the AFC by traditional measure (opponent win/loss records)
