Saints (-9.5) over FALCONS

The Saints are a different team at home and on the road, mostly because Drew Brees is a different quarterback outside the Superdome.

So why am I taking the Saints to cover a 9.5-point spread? Two reasons.

1) Yes, this is a road game, but it's a road game being played in another dome. A dome Brees is very familiar with, since Atlanta is in the Saints' division and Brees plays here every year. Not being outside makes going on the road so much easier for this Saints team.

2) The Falcons are awful right now. They are a stars and scrubs team and too many of their stars are injured. They just got blown out by Tampa Bay (Tampa was up 41-13 before starters on both teams started sitting). New Orleans is a good team, the Falcons are not.

Saints win big.
