NFL Picks, Week 11

Quick hitters, home team in CAPS.

New York Jets (Even) over BUFFALO
I'm not sure Buffalo has any healthy receivers left.

Baltimore (+3) over CHICAGO
Chicago's defense is pretty bad, bad enough to make Baltimore's offense look decent.

Cleveland (+6) over CINCINNATI
Cincinnati has enough to win this game, but barring a Brandon Weeden appearance, not enough to cover.

TAMPA BAY (Even) over Atlanta
Atlanta just has nothing going for it right now.

Arizona (-7) over JACKSONVILLE
The Cardinals defense is enough to cover on their own.

HOUSTON (-7) over Oakland
Matt McGloin is starting for the Raiders.

San Diego (-1) over MIAMI
I'll take the team that's not in the midst of a tailspin when given the choice.

PHILADELPHIA (-5) over Washington
Washington's defense made Christian Ponder look good. Now they face a QB who has a line of 13TDs/0INT for the season.

Detroit (-2.5) over PITTSBURGH
Pittsburgh showed pretty convincingly 2 weeks ago that great passing offenses will carve them up like Thanksgiving turkey.

Green Bay (+5) over NEW YORK GIANTS
Giants win, but I'm not ready to start picking them to cover spreads above 3 yet.

SEATTLE (-12) over Minnesota
Seattle's finally getting healthy, and their secondary will eat Christian Ponder alive. Also, Seattle covers at home, unless a) their kicker gets hurt or b) the offcials take away a turnover of theirs due to a terrible pass interference call, and then the other team invokes the ghost of Tim Tebow with a jump pass.

NEW ORLEANS (-3) over San Francisco
That 49ers passing offense looks completely broken right now.

Kansas City (+7.5) over DENVER
Denver wins, but Kansas City's defense (and a gimpy Peyton Manning) will keep this game close.

New England (+2.5) over CAROLINA
Both offenses are very well set up to attack the opposition's defense. No Wilfork means Carolina should be able to run it down the Pats' throats, and Carolina's only weakness on defense is their secondary. I'm trusting Brady and Belichick to pull this one out.

This week: 0-0-1 (=/)
Last week: 6-8 (.429)
2013 season: 62-82-3 (.432)
