A quick primer on what all of this information is:
Team, W(ins), L(osses), T(ies), and Pct (winning percentage) are all self-explanatory. The Conference and Division records are separated into separate columns for Wins/Losses/Ties. This was purely a formatting move designed to help me update the tables more efficiently.
PF - Points For (points scored by the team for the season)
PA - Points Against (points scored by the team's opponents for the season)
Pythag% - Pythagorean winning percentage - this is based on PF and PA
RoS SOS - Rest of Season Strength of Schedule

Interesting bits of information:
  • The Patriots have clinched the AFC East.
  • There are 3 tiers to the AFC playoff picture:
    • The race for seeds 1-3:
      • New England has an early edge thanks to their better conference record. They also have the common opponents tiebreaker over the Bengals (4-1 vs PIT, BUF, DEN, HOU), while Cincy is 2-2 versus those 4 teams).
      • Denver has beaten the Patriots head-to-head.
      • The Bengals and Broncos play in week 16, if Denver wins, they will win any three-way tie as they will have beaten both NE and CIN. Any other result and three-way ties will come down to conference record and/or common opponents.
    • The race for the 4th seed (AFC South winner)
      • The Colts play the Texans this week. The winner won't wrap up the division, but will put themselves very much in the driver's seat.
    • The race for the wild card spots
      • The Chiefs have a 2-game advantage over the other two teams for conference record in the loss column.
      • The Steelers have the edge on the Jets if both win out, because the Steelers have a better record in common games (3-1 vs CLE, NE, OAK, IND while the Jets are 2-2), and if both win out they will finish with the same conference record.
  • The Broncos and Jets are tied for the toughest remaining schedule among AFC playoff teams. The Chiefs have the easiest remaining schedule among AFCplayoff teams.
