A quick primer on what all of this information is:
Team, W(ins), L(osses), T(ies), and Pct (winning percentage) are all self-explanatory.
The Conference and Division records are separated into separate columns for Wins/Losses/Ties. This was purely a formatting move designed to help me update the tables more efficiently.
PF - Points For (points scored by the team for the season)
PA - Points Against (points scored by the team's opponents for the season)
Pythag% - Pythagorean winning percentage - this is based on PF and PA
RoS SOS - Rest of Season Strength of Schedule

Interesting bits of information:
  • There are 16 teams in the AFC. 12 of them are realistically in the playoff picture. The other 4 (NYJ, TEN, JAX, OAK) have records of 2-10 or worse.
  • Of the division leaders, the Colts have the easiest remaining schedule and Cincinnati has the hardest.
  • The wild card situation in the AFC is, to put it frankly, a mess. One team is 8-4, one is 6-6, and 4 teams are 7-5.
  • One thing to keep in mind when it comes to wild card tiebreakers is that divisional ties are broken first. So Pittsburgh can't be part of a wildcard tiebreaker unless Baltimore has already secured a playoff spot, because Pittsburgh is behind the Ravens on the divisional tiebreaker. This means the tiebreaker for the 6th playoff spot as of this week is between Miami, Baltimore, and Kansas City, which Miami wins based on conference record.
  • Of all the wild card hopefuls, the Texans have the easiest remaining schedule. Of the 7-5 teams, Baltimore has the easiest remaining schedule.
  • The first tiebreaker in breaking wild card ties across divisions if all of the teams haven't played each other is conference record. Buffalo, Baltimore, and Cleveland are in rough shape here as they all already have 5 conference losses. Miami, Pittsburgh, and Houston are in good shape here with only 3 conference losses.
  • Based on Pythagorean win percentage, the two best teams fighting for a wild card berth are Baltimore and Miami.
